KS18 is a vehicle-mounted positioning terminal independently developed and produced by the company, with a working voltage of 9V ~ 100V. Support GPS/Beidou, AGPS, base station and other positioning functions, accurate positioning; It has basic functions such as intelligent self-checking, remote oil and power cut-off, remote wireless upgrade intelligent function and alarm function.


Introduction to Main Functions

Timing monitoring

The terminal can send the position and status information of the vehicle to the monitoring center at a certain time interval.

Temporary tracking

The platform can issue the total tracking time and reporting interval, and the terminal will automatically report the real-time location to the platform according to the settings;

Blind zone compensation

When the terminal enters the GPRS blind zone and comes to the reporting time, it will save the relevant information when reporting, and upload the blind zone data to the platform when GPRS goes online again. Save up to 1000 pieces of blind area compensation data

Curve compensation

When the vehicle enters the curve, the terminal detects a certain angle deviation (default 30 degrees) in the driving direction, and will add a timing return message to ensure a more accurate driving track.

Base station location

The terminal uses GPS positioning by default. When GPS enters the blind area and cannot accurately position, the terminal automatically switches to base station positioning. The terminal updates the base station information in real time and uploads the base station information according to the set strategy. The specific location is analyzed by the server.

AGPS

The terminal has AGPS function. When the terminal is connected to GPRS, AGPS function can be used to speed up the positioning speed of GPS module and improve the positioning accuracy.

Main voltage detection

The terminal can detect the main voltage in real time and report it to the background at any time.

ACC detection

The terminal can intelligently judge the ACC status of the vehicle through GPS speed and battery voltage.

Low voltage alarm

When the battery voltage on the vehicle is too low (9V can be set), the vehicle terminal reports a low voltage alarm to the monitoring center.

Overspeed alarm

When the vehicle speed is higher than the overspeed alarm value, the vehicle terminal will notify the monitoring center. The alarm value can be set.

Abnormal alarm of positioning module

When the host detects that the GPS/BD module works abnormally, it reports the GPS receiver fault alarm back to the monitoring center.

Main power failure alarm

A lithium battery is built into the host computer. When the main power voltage fails, the host computer automatically switches to the lithium battery for power supply and reports the main power failure alarm at the same time. The spare lithium battery can support the main engine to work for about 2 hours.

Intelligent self-test

The vehicle terminal can carry out self-diagnosis. Once a fault occurs, it will send a fault notification to the center, such as GPS, GSM, etc., and can automatically take relevant measures. The monitoring center can also query the current model, version, configuration, running status and equipment functions of the terminal.

Oil and electricity cut-off function (optional function)

Through the central system, the vehicle-mounted terminal remotely controls the vehicle to lock, unlock and release the abnormal state of the terminal. After receiving the instruction, the vehicle-mounted terminal will perform corresponding operations on the vehicle circuit or oil circuit, return a power-off/oil confirmation information to the center, and upload the current vehicle state at the same time. Once the vehicle receives the power/oil circuit disconnection command, the on-board terminal will remember the state until the center issues a recovery command.

Mileage statistics

The vehicle mileage data is returned to the monitoring center together with the vehicle positioning data; The initial mileage can be set when the vehicle is installed.

Remote Settings

Various parameters of the terminal, including IP, center number, various monitoring parameters, etc., are remotely set through the central system.

FOTA (Remote Upgrade)

As long as GPRS status is available, the terminal software upgrade can be completed by remote wireless mode.

Primary and standby server functions

The terminal supports dual IP connection between the main server and the standby server. The default connection is to the main server. If there is a problem with the main server, it will automatically switch to the standby server. The primary server and the standby server can be set up in IP or domain name. When setting the domain name, the domain name is given priority; If there is no domain name, IP is used; If IP is set, the domain name will be cleared automatically;
